Visiting the website

The hosting service receives technical data needed to deliver and protect the website, such as IP address, requested resource, request time and browser information. The purpose is site delivery, security and troubleshooting, based on the controller’s legitimate interest in operating a secure website. The hosting provider is Hostinger. The precise hosting-log retention period and contractual provider details are being verified and must be confirmed before this notice is published.

Local photographs, video and self-hosted Inter and Oswald fonts do not contact a separate media or font provider. Essential browser storage remembers privacy preferences for 180 days. No account or registration is required to browse the site.

Contacting the studio

Contact links open your email application. This website does not submit a contact form or confirm that an email has been sent. If you email us, we process the contact details and information you choose to provide to answer the enquiry and, where applicable, take steps towards a requested service. The legal basis is pre-contractual steps requested by you, or our legitimate interest in responding to other correspondence.

Enquiries are kept for two years from closure of the request. Correspondence forming part of a contract, accounting record or legal claim may be subject to separate legal retention obligations. Access is limited to authorised people and service providers needed to handle the request. The studio email shown here is provided through Google Gmail. Contacting Orion57 or another separately linked organisation involves that recipient’s own processing and privacy information.

Optional services and statistics

YouTube videos, Adobe Fonts and Leica-hosted product images are blocked until you allow external services. On activation, the relevant providers receive connection data, including your IP address and browser details, and may process information according to their own policies. YouTube uses its privacy-enhanced player; this does not mean that playback is free of data processing.

The site includes a consent-gated integration for a separate Google Analytics 4 property for the 2026 phase. Google Analytics loads only after you consent to statistics. It measures page visits to help the studio understand website use. You may refuse or withdraw consent at any time. The integration disables advertising personalization and Google Signals, uses canonical page URLs without query strings or fragments, and does not send email addresses, names or message content. Existing analytics history is separate and is not deleted by this website update. Event-level data retention is two months; user-level data retention is fourteen months, reset on new user activity. These settings do not govern most standard aggregated reports. First-party Analytics cookies expire after 180 days without automatic extension.

Providers and international transfers

Services involved are Hostinger for hosting, Google for Gmail and optional YouTube/Analytics, Adobe for optional hosted fonts, and Leica Camera for optional product images. Their roles depend on the service and applicable agreements; external providers may also act as independent controllers. Processing may involve countries outside the European Economic Area. The controller must verify applicable transfer safeguards and service agreements, including any adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses, before enabling the final production setup.

Your choices and rights

You can accept, reject or customise optional services and reopen privacy preferences at any time. Withdrawing consent stops future optional loading and removes this site’s accessible Analytics cookies; it does not undo processing already carried out or erase cookies belonging to another provider’s domain. Refusing optional services does not prevent access to texts, local photographs, navigation or email links.

Subject to the applicable conditions, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interests.
